Great Britain's men have been close to a world team medal for several years. They were fourth in Antwerp in 2023 and fourth at the Paris Olympics, and won team bronze in Liverpool in 2022. In 2025 they won the European team title. In Rotterdam they made the best possible start.
Squad
- Jake Jarman – world floor champion 2025
- Joe Fraser – world pommel horse champion 2019
- Harry Hepworth – Olympic vault bronze 2024
- Courtney Tulloch
- Reuben Ward
- Jonas Rushworth – reserve
Qualification
Britain finished the first day second in the team ranking with 251.460, behind Japan and ahead of the WG2 team of Russian gymnasts. Jake Jarman was fifth in the all-around on 83.698 and led vault with a 14.633 average. Joe Fraser was seventh in the all-around on 83.065. Courtney Tulloch scored 14.500 on rings, second at that point, and Reuben Ward scored 14.466 on pommel horse.
Where the medal could come from
Britain's best apparatus are vault and floor, where Jarman and Harry Hepworth score heavily, and rings, through Tulloch. Pommel horse is often decisive in men's team finals, and with Fraser and Ward Britain are stronger there than most rivals.
