ueg.org is an independent online journal about gymnastics. We publish practical guides, plain-language explainers on every discipline and an archive of European championships from 2013 to 2020.
Why this domain
For many years this web address belonged to the Union Européenne de Gymnastique, the governing body of gymnastics in Europe, which later adopted the name European Gymnastics and moved to a new website. Thousands of articles, club pages and news reports around the web still link to old ueg.org event pages.
We now run ueg.org as an independent publication. We kept the archive structure so that those old links lead to useful context instead of an error page: each archived event has its own page, written by us, explaining what the event was and why it mattered.
What we publish
- Guides for gymnasts, parents and adult beginners. - Explainers on the eight gymnastics disciplines. - Retrospectives on key moments in European gymnastics. - An event archive covering European championships, European Games and festivals.
Who writes here
Content is produced by the ueg.org editorial desk, a small team of writers who follow gymnastics closely and have spent years watching it from the stands and in front of the screen. We are not judges or national-team coaches, and we do not pretend to be. When a topic needs specialist knowledge, we rely on governing-body documents and published sources, and we say so.
How we work
Our editorial policy explains how we check facts, handle corrections and label any sponsored content. If you spot an error, please tell us.
