March 14, 2017The Rhythmic Technical Committee and the Local Organising Committee organised the drawing of the starting order in Budapest last week
Under the leadership of Heide Bruneder, UEG’s TC President for Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Judit Kormendy-Ekes, co-chairman of the Organising Committee, and in attendance of several national media outlets, the draw for the starting order of the upcoming Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships was held in Budapest (HUN).
As of this year, the team competition will be a combination of the scores obtained by seniors and juniors from the same country. So the starting order day 1 was drawn while for day two it will depend on the standing after day 1. You can find the entire starting order here!
The deadline for nominative entries is 21 April. Then we’ll know which gymnasts will battle for the European crown!
The Technical Committee also held its first meeting of the year, taking advantage of being on-site to meet the LOC, visit the venue and the training halls and go through the preparations.
