Berlin hosted the 3rd Rhythmic World Cup Challenge of the season

Belarussian Katsiaryna Halkina posted the top scores with hoop and clubs and the second highest scores with ball and ribbon to easily capture the all-around victory at the Berlin Masters last weekend. This well-known competition is part of the FIG’s World Cup Challenge series. Halkina beat Russians Yulia Bravikova and Ekaterina Selezneva. These three ladies split the apparatus titles too. Halkina won ribbon, Bravikova was the best with clubs and Selezneva took home two titles, with hoop and ball. Two new seniors reached the podium with hoop: Italy’s Alexandra Agiurgiuculese grabs the silver and Ukraine’s Olena Diachenko the bronze.

In the group competition, Russia won the all-around and both apparatus finals ahead of Ukraine. Belarus clinched 2 bronze medals, in the all-around and with 5 hoops while Azerbaijan took the bronze in the exercise with 3 ropes and 2 balls.
