Golden Age Gym Festival 2012: only two days remain but one thinks already of the 2014 edition !

The 3rd Golden Age Gym Festival ends tomorrow evening but the participants still have the opportunity to enjoy the city, its surroundings and of course to attend the Gala tonight, and to finish the week with the closing ceremony on Friday evening.

Yesterday took place according to the usual schedule. : Workshops in the morning and group performances in the afternoon.

Between 11h30 and 13h30 the second Forum of this Golden Age Festival was held on the theme : « what has to be taken into account when training the seniors ».

Finally, at 19h30 the heads of delegations and group leaders were invited to attend the presentation of the 2014 edition of the Golden Age Gym Festival by the French Gymnastics Federation. The 4th Golden Age will take place in Toulouse, France from September 28th to October 3rd 2014 and the organisers have set the first important issues regarding the organisation of this event (presentation of the venues for the workshops, performances, forum, ceremonies……).

Golden Age Gym Festival: preparation of the next edition

A few days ago, before the 2012 edition of the Golden Age Gym Festival started, Alberto Claudino Loureiro Nunes, vice-president of the Technical Committee Gymnastics for All of the European Union of Gymnastics and member of the Golden Age "Task Force", went to Toulouse, France to participate in a preliminary meeting with the local Organising Committee of the 4th Golden Age Gym Festival 2014.

The visit of the sites proposed for the event and the meetings with the representatives of the French Federation and the LOC took place in a very friendly atmosphere.

The city of Toulouse indeed presents very good conditions and services to host the Festival in 2014!

The French Gymnastics Federation, the regional gymnastics association, the local clubs and the municipality are really ready to commit themselves to organise in 2014 a Golden Age Gym Festival which will be unforgettable!

This new day in Montecatini is placed under the sign of the GALA; specific workshops, rehearsal and beginning of the gala at 18h30, followed by a dinner and a dancing evening.
