At the end of the finals with many surprises, Russia is crowned with the European champion title. Germany wins the silver and Romania the bronze medal.

8 countries are in the first rotation: BLR/RUS on the floor, ROU/ITA at the pommel horse, SUI/GER at the rings /UKR/FRA at the vault. Alexei Nemov, Ivan Ivankov and Donghua Li were present in the tribunes.
After two apparatus: if France, Ukraine, Switzerland and Germany get a little bit of distance, we know that at the beginning of the competition these results are uncertain.

At mid-competition, France is still in the lead (137.625). FRA widened a bit the gap separating them from Romania (gap of 1.175), Ukraine (gap of 1.625), Germany (gap of 2.225) and Switzerland (gap of 2.525. With a gap of more than 4 points follow Russia, Italy and Belarus.

At the end of the fourth rotation, the situation is a little tighter: France leads with 182.100 points. Romania follows with a gap of 0.85, Russia with 0.90 points and Germany with 1.025 points.
Ukraine and Switzerland already follow with more than 3 points behind.

At the second last apparatus, Russia took the lead ahead of Germany, Romania and Belarus. The classification now shows a clearer situation after all teams have passed at the vault.

The competition ends at the horizontal bar for BLR/RUS, floor for ROU/ITA, pommel horse for SUI/GER, and at the rings for UKR/FRA.
