After a successful European Championships, we return to Baku for the 1st European Games!

Dear Friends,

The UEG’s Technical Committee in Rhythmic Gymnastics is delighted by this new platform to bring our Sport into the spotlight of Europe! The goal is to continue the progress of our sport, make it more interesting and bring some new ideas for the future.

We started the year with the first Symposium for Choreography with a colloquium on the Code of Points. This was not only a big success because of the excellent experts, it was also an excellent exchange between the responsible from each country. Here we want to express our great thanks to the president of the TC/RG/FIG Mrs. Natalia Kuzmina for the fruitful and trendsetting discussions.

Minsk 2015

Last month the Rhythmic community gathered in Minsk (BLR) for the European Championships. A record of 38 participating countries for this competition, held at a very high level both for junior groups and senior individuals made it clear that there are no real “low-level” gymnasts anymore. Europe is leading the world in Rhythmic Gymnastics!

Training camps & coaches’ courses.

We took advantage of the setting in Minsk to hand out flyers and show a video to promote our training camps and coaches’ courses. The next coaches’ course is scheduled for 7 till 12th November 2015 in Marbella (ESP).

The main focus will be on group exercises, physical preparation and recuperation, psychology etc. All this will be taught by worldwide recognised experts. We hope that a lot of federations will send their coaches to this important course.

Have a look at our promo video; it will surely get you in the mood and….

Hello Dear Friends !

Baku 2015

At the moment the stars of the rhythmic world are preparing for the European Games in Baku. This is the next big step, where a new competition format will make its debut! Our rhythmic gymnasts will be competing in alternation with their colleagues from acrobatic gymnastics in this historic event. These Games are an excellent opportunity for the whole sport of gymnastics to make it more interesting for the audience and media and emphasises Europe in its position as the origin and visionary of gymnastics!

You will find further actual information from and around the European Rhythmic Gymnastics scene in the next Newsletters!

With my best regards.
