3rd Golden Age Gym Festival : last preparations

19 countries and more than 1800 gymnasts participate in this 3rd Golden Age Gym Festival that will begin in 2 days in Montecatini / Italy; this represents a significant increase of participants compared to the last edition two years ago in Portimao/POR.
The following national federations are represented: BEL (35 participants), CZE (40), DEN (185), EST (38), FIN (199), FRA (148), GBR (15), GER (148), ISL (48), ITA (127), JPN (34), LAT (13), LTU (35), NED (107), NOR (327) - the best represented federation - , POR (106), RUS (87), SVK (30), SUI (115).
The UEG responsible, the Italian Gymnastics Federation and the local organisers are ready for the kick-off of this 3rd Golden Age Gym Festival.
Everyone is now eagerly awaiting to feel the unique atmosphere and to see the march in of the many participants that arrive from all over Europe; this parade will mark the beginning of this week of gymnastics for people aged 50+.
The Golden Age 2012 will thus start on Sunday, September 30th with the meeting of the head of delegations.
The official opening will begin at 16h45 with the parade and the opening ceremony at 17h30.
